Send Me Home for World Peace
Preface:
SendMeHome.com has been featured on Santa Barbara’s 88.5, reached the front page of the Ajaxian, demoed by Molly MacDonald the DemoGirl, and featured 4 TIMES in the Santa Barbara Independent.
These two guys are on a Fantastic Voyage - no, not that funky, FUNKY tune from 1980 - something a bit more meaningful.

James Tamplin and Andrew Lee have created a phenomenon with the potential to change the way we connect with each other in both the virtual and real worlds. Their website SendMeHome.com, first released in September 2008, is a growing community of adventurers and folks simply looking to hold on to their most prized possessions.
SendMeHome.com in a nutshell:
1. Register any item you own on the SendMeHome.com website.
2. Label your item with the SendMeHome ID.
3. Protect your item from loss - If you lose the item, anybody who finds it can go to SendMeHome.com, enter the SendMeHome ID, and get it back to home to you.
3b. Or, now here’s my favorite part, send your item on an adventure! Send your item out into the world - everyone who encounters it can add to the story!
Here’s a video walkthrough of how these features work:
I am currently participating in the story of two copies of best selling author and blogger Seth Godin’s new book, Tribes. An, inspiring book about leadership and innovation, Tribes gives perspective on corporate life and the adventure that lies within…or beyond.
Find out where Tribes ends up, and most importantly, find out who it visits on the way.
